How do I apply?
Application are only accepted on-line in electronic format when the wait list is open. Paper applications are not accepted. However if you need assistance in completing the on-line application you may come by our office from 12 - 5 pm Monday through Thursday.
Be sure to select the waiting list you are interested in from the drop-down menu on the on-line form. Public Housing is currently the only program waiting list open.
What information do I need when filling out an application?
The application requires you to list: Social Security numbers and birth dates of each household member. The total gross amount of family income from all sources. The total value of family assets.
How long does it take to reach the top of the waiting list?
Approximately 18 to 24 months.
How long does it take to find out if I am eligible for Rental Assistance?
A preliminary determination is made and mailed to the family usually within 30 days. However, eligibility must be verified at the time the application reaches the top of the waiting list.
